Karl grew up on the Central Coast and was a member of Gosford Salvation Army. He studied Ancient History and Law at Macquarie University. Karl moved to Orange in 2006 when his wife Naomi took up a teaching position at Orange Christian School. Karl is now managing the Orange Christian Book Centre. Karl loves music, particularly jazz and has recently revived his interest in brass bands.
